This month has seen a number of interesting changes in our Internet industry. America Online has made a deal to purchase Netscape, Newbridge Networks has been purchased by Siemens of Germany, and the US Federal Justice look at Microsoft has brought forth all sorts of revelations - the judge even chuckled at the taped testimony of Bill.

Tools of the Trade - I'm also going to include a section on the technologies I'm using and why (and how). I'm a tool junkie - I have been ever since I got my first set of tools to take apart old radios and clocks and things. I hate using the wrong tool for the job, and conversely will hang onto a much used and loved tool no matter what new-fangled gadget comes along that says it can do the job better.
