The First of a New EraThe content is the message. I'm using FrontPage 98 to create this issue. In the past I created content directly in a text editor, as did virtually every other web creator. Tools to check HTML syntax and make fancy constructs easy were still in their infancy. Today there are hundreds of toolsets and the web is becoming more and more like desktop publishing. This brings with it the same problem that desktop publishing brought - just because anybody can create content, anybody does (including me). The result is a tremendous pile of hard to read dreck with some gems interspersed. I'm not sure what you, the viewer, will make of the Digital Rag's content, but I'm hoping that at least you will be able to read and endure it. If not, please tell me. richard |
